One week to go. To my fellow Christians, a few reminders:

God is not American.
God is not a Republican.
God is not a Democrat.
God is not an independent. Arguably the only Independent, but not an independent.
All power is temporary.
We possess an infinite capacity to rationalize.
Persuasion and volume aren’t related.
Secure people rarely shout.
Humility and credibility are related.
Irrelevance can be earned.
Character and integrity still matter.
Words still matter.
Life is not about us.
The love your neighbor as yourself thing is still true.
People who aren’t Christians will know the people who are Christians by the love the latter show. – Jesus
Re-read the previous sentence.
Hope is not postmarked November 5th. If yours is, please, start at the top again.
